Ben Freeman
Executive Director
Ben graduated from the University of Manchester in 2020 with a BA in History and American Studies. Ben was previously a Campus Coordinator and Campus Director of The Pinsker Centre, and he has been a firm advocate for intellectual tolerance on university campuses— having been elected as a delegate to the National Union of Students, and the World Union of Jewish Students. Ben was cited in Jewish News’s “twenty five under 25” list, where he was described as playing “an instrumental role in standing up to Antisemitism on campus.”

Mackenzie France
Director of Strategy
Mackenzie graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in History and Politics in 2023. During his undergraduate studies, Mackenzie organised numerous Pinsker Centre events in Cambridge after becoming a Pinsker Centre Policy Fellow in 2022. Mackenzie’s keen interest in foreign affairs is evident through his contributions to publications like The Centre for Commonwealth Affairs and Blue Beyond on topics such as Israel’s security, containing Russia and China, and the direction of UK foreign policy. After completing the Fellowship programme, Mackenzie continued working with the Pinsker Centre and was appointed Directory of Strategy in 2023.

Marina Barats
Education Director
Marina graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 with First Class Honours in Bsc Economics and Politics and is currently completing an MA in International Political Economy at King’s College London. During her undergraduate degree, Marina served as President of Bristol International Affairs Society, as Events Officer at Bristol Investment Fund, and was selected to participate in several European Jewish Association Conferences. In 2020, Marina joined the Pinsker Centre as a Policy Fellow.

Alex Sandler
Campus Director
Alex is an undergraduate student at LSE. Alex joined the Pinsker Fellowship programme, before being appointed Campus Director in September 2023. Before joining the Pinsker Centre, Alex spent a year working with NGOs focused on diplomacy and humanitarian support in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Nolan Judd
Deputy Education Director
Nolan expects to graduate from the University of Glasgow in 2024 with an MA in international relations. Along with his studies, Nolan held internships with the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) and Senator Tim Scott, both in Washington, DC. Nolan joined the Pinsker Centre as a Policy Fellow in 2022 and continued his affiliation with the organisation when he was appointed the Deputy Director of Education in 2023.
