About Dr. Garson:

Melanie is a Lecturer (Teaching) in International Conflict Resolution & International Security in the Department of Political Science at UCL. She is also the Cyber and Tech Geopolitics Lead Internet Policy Lead at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change where she focuses on cybersecurity policy as well as the intersection of technology and foreign policy. Melanie is an accredited mediator and prior to joining UCL worked as a solicitor in the International Disputes department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
