Brigadier General (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser was chief of the research division of the Israeli Defence Forces's Military Intelligence, and director general of Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs. In his intelligence position, Kuperwasser had a significant role in determining Israel's approach to its perceived security threats, as well as principal responsibility for sharing intelligence with the United States and other countries.
